Weekend on the Sea - Hétvége a tengeren

I think regular readers already know that one of my favorite pastime is sailing. This time I would like to show you through video, how I spend a weekend on the sea. In the video is not visible, but for the sake of accuracy I would mention that the port, where we started our trip was Saint-Laurent du Var, which is located near Nice. From there we took the south-west direction, towards Antibes, and then we passed near the island of Saint-Honorat. We continued our journey toEsterelle, which is famous of it's red rocks, toward Théoule-sur-Mer, then in the Bay of  Mandelieu we turned back, passed next to Cannes and Island of Saint-Maurgerite,  headed back to the Bay of Antibes, where we spent the night. The video consists two parts, but I think both are worth seeing, if only because of the beauty of the landscape.

Gondolom, rendszeres olvasóim már tudják, hogy az egyik kedvenc időtöltésem a vitorlázás. Ez alkalommal videón keresztül szeretném bemutatni, hogy telik egy tengeren töltött hétvégém. A videón ugyan nem látszik, de a pontosság kedvéért megemlíteném, hogy a Saint-Laurent du Var-i kikötőből indultunk, ami Nizza mellett található. Onnét dél-nyugatra vettük az irányt, Antibes felé, majd elhaladtunk Saint-Honorat szigete mellett. Tovább folytattuk utunkat a vörös szikláiról híres Esterell felé, érintve Théoule-sur-Mer-t, majd a Mandelieu-i öbölben visszakanyarodtunk, elhajózva Cannes és Sainte-Maurgerite szigete mellett, vissza az Antibes-i öbölbe, ahol az éjszakát is töltöttük. A videó két részből áll, de véleményem szerint érdemes mindkettőt megnézni, már csak a táj szépsége miatt is.

65. Festival du Film - Cannes

I made some photos of the world's best known and most prestigious film festival, which is held in Cannes every May each year. To win the festival's main prize, the Golden Palm, film are projected in different locations, but the major racing venue is located on Croisette boulevard, in the Festival and Congress Palace. During the festival's two weeks, the population is triples in Cannes, many tourists flock to the city. Humans are able to wait for hours in front of hotels, not to mention the 24-degree stairs with red carpet, hoping just to see or take photos of some of the "Stars". I dedicate this article for those of you who love this bustle. Personally, for me it is too much glamor, hype, crowd (for nothing). For those of you, who feel in my way, I would recommend a virtual tour instead, in one of the islands, near Cannes, in  St Honorat.

Íme  néhány fotó a világ legismertebb és legnagyobb presztízsértékkel bíró filmfesztiváljáról, melyet minden év májusának második felében tartanak Cannes-ban. A fesztivál fődíjáért, az Arany Pálmáért versenyző filmek vetítésének legfőbb helyszíne a Croisette körúton fekvő Fesztivál- és Kongresszusi Palota. A fesztivál két hete alatt Cannes lélekszáma mintegy háromszorosára nő, rengeteg túrista özönli el a várost. Az emberek ilyenkor képesek órákat várni egy-egy hotel előtt, nem beszélve a 24 lépcsőfokos vörös szőnyegről, csak hogy lencsevégre kaphassanak egy-egy híres embert. Azoknak, akik szeretik ezt a nyüzsgést, külön ajanlom ezt a cikket. A magamfajtáknak, akiknek túl sok ez a csillogás, felhajtás, a tömeg (a semmire), ajánlanék egy virtuális kikapcsolódást az egyik Cannes melletti szigeten, St Honorat-on.

Sailing in the French Riviera - Vitorlàzàs a Francia Riviéràn

As I mentioned in my profile, one of my passion is the photograpy. However it is not just that. I really like to sail as well. The video was made in the Côte d'Azur, close to "Nice", Cannes, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Antibes.
